We will make this as simple is we can. We do not collect data on you; we do not track you. There is no registration and there is no account associated with the app; this is why you do not have to log in to Enticio Write™ when you use the app. Just to be clear, when you use the app, you do so anonymously. In fact, it is a feature of the software that it achieves its level of security the same way a pencil does, it doesn’t know anything about you or what you are writing. This does make it more difficult for us to provide service to our users as we do not have any idea, who you are unless you deliberately come to the website and create an account on your own, which is an option available to you if you want to interact and be reachable. Normally, we communicate with our users via this website through regular updates. And even then, we do not know whether you actually own the app or are just a curious bystander; either way, we do not collect or process personal information and what little we do know, is completely under your control and can be deleted at any time.
To reiterate the central point, you do not need an account to use the app and the only requirement for creating an account on the website is that you have a valid email address, which does not identify you beyond giving us some assurance that you are not a robot. It is true that we ask for a first name and last name however, it is not verified so it could be any name you choose; in fact, we probably have several users with the name “Warren Pease.”
